This privacy policy sets out how MEC uses and protects any information that you give The-EdIS when you use this website.

What we collect

If you are a professor/teacher
· 1st Name, 2ndName and Family Name
· Gender
· Email address and Password
· contact information including phone number of Educational Institution(s), where the professor/teacher teaches. MEC should be ensured that a professor/teacher who is registered in The-EdIS is really a professor/teacher
· demographic information such as postcode, preferences
Information could be showed to your student(s), if the check box of every item is checked. Your 1st Name, Family Name and Gender will show to your student, after he/she is registered to you and you set him in active student list.
If you are student:
· 1st Name, 2ndName and Family Name
· Gender
· Student ID
· Email address and Password
· Education Institution ID
· Educational Institution
· Birthday
· contact information including phone number
· demographic information such as postcode, preferences
Information could be showed to professor/teacher, if the check box of every item is checked. Your 1st Name, Family Name and Gender will show to your teacher, after you registered to him.
MEC uses only the email address and password of you to manage your account. MEC encrypting the Password and treats it confiden.
What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:
· Internal record keeping.
· We may use the information to improve our products and services.
· We may use the information to customize the website according to your interests.
· We may use the information to inform you about the new development(s) of The-EdIS.

In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. However the user must know that a 100% security is not possible. For the damages of data through the Viruses or other source MEC does not take any responsibility.
